    • Managed a team of 3 designers and created quarterly chapter goals (OKRs) by liaising with product and engineering teams to support 100% of the product delivery roadmap.
    • Increased productivity of the design team with a new Design Ops practice that included guidelines on craft, process and people to deliver quality results.
    • Formulated design strategy for 2 functionally complex products to increase the customer satisfaction rate and also to support the sales team to win some of the key potential customer deals.

    Senior Digital Experience Designer — AIA Australia, Melbourne (Oct 2018 – Present)

    • Led and delivered quality designs for several large, complex projects across various core offerings such as Group insurance, AIA Vitality, Retail insurance, Automation, and AIA Health insurance and solved critical problems by ensuring proposed solutions balances user needs, business strategy, and technical constraints.
    • Worked with the cross-functional teams to understand the Product Design vision and direction and collaborated with key stakeholders such as design researchers, service designers, product owners, peer UX designers, solution architects, and developers to ensure experiences are usable, feasible, and viable.

    Product Designer — HROnboard, Melbourne (Jul 2017 – Present)

    • Led and owned the product design for their new product, “Welcomes”. Reframed and improved the user journey experience of the existing concept and helped the team to launch the product successfully into the market.
    • Influenced the key stakeholders and made design decisions based on user research validated data. Initiated user testing best practices apart from quantitative insights from analytics.
    • Formulated a flexible and effective product design process (end to end) for any aspect of the product, be it small feature or the whole product. Process incorporated Lean UX methods within a collaborative, agile driven environment.
    • Established React JS based Design Systems with extensive documentation, guidelines and other best practices. Standardised design principles across the product for cross-functional teams to understand and collaborate throughout the implementation process.

    Senior UX Designer — Unico Systems, Melbourne (Nov 2015 – Jul 2017)

    • Responsible for UI and UX for multiple projects. Worked either in a design team or autonomously depending upon project needs.
    • Engaged with cross-functional project stakeholders to establish design direction that meet market requirements while balancing user needs with technical capabilities.
    • Conducted numerous usability testing sessions, surveys, and customer interviews in several projects to validate user-centric design decisions.

      • Gather My Crew - Worked with the product team from concept to market for a Task management app for community dealing with illness.
      • Sherpa - Collaborated with several designers and worked on improving several features of this end-to-end HR product based on user research and testing data.

      • Telstra Air (Business) - Worked as sole product designer in developing the user journey for B2B Telstra Air product from concept to market.
      • Telstra (IOS app) - Collaborated with Telstra Digital design team to create consumer based status notification app.

    Product & UX Architect — MySolarToolkit.com, Melbourne (Oct 2014 – Nov 2015)

    • Led product design development entirely from research to final production. Established core UX and development strategies including usability inspection, user testing, and user research.
    • Authored key functional and UX documents such as journey mapping, information architecture, prototypes to support product design to incorporate mobile-first and intuitive experience.

    Product Manager & UX Designer — Solar eCRM, Melbourne (Jan 2013 – Oct 2014)

    • Defined and oversaw the entire product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, including business plan, market segments/analysis (MRD), product/functional requirements (PRD), complete user experience, feature prioritization, release planning, deployment and support needs.
    • Shaped end to end user experience while driving KPIs by designing new product features and improve usability of existing interface. Designed user interface (UI) and documented style guide to improve development team’s efficiency and to unify platforms.
